Kaido is an AI-powered tool that analyzes legal documents and provides plain-language explanations of their content. The Service is designed to help users understand documents they are reviewing, not to provide legal advice.

The Service provides legal information, not legal advice. There is an important distinction:

• Legal advice is advice specific to your situation from a licensed attorney who has reviewed all relevant facts.

Kaido provides legal information only. Nothing on this platform creates an attorney-client relationship. For advice specific to your situation, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.

4. Accuracy and Limitations

While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated analysis may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. The Service:

• May not identify all legally significant clauses or issues
• May not reflect the most current laws or regulations in your jurisdiction
• May not account for specific facts or circumstances relevant to your situation
• Should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any legal decision

5. User Responsibilities

• Not upload documents containing third-party confidential information without authorization

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. When you use Zero Retention Mode, documents are analyzed and immediately deleted. When you do not use Zero Retention Mode, documents are stored for up to 30 days.

7. Payments and Refunds

Paid features are billed through Stripe. We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. To request a refund, contact contact@kaido-app.com.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kaido shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Changes to Terms
